Common problems we can help you with:
In-grown toenails
-An ingrown toenail develops when the sides of the toenail grow into the surrounding skin. The nail curls and pierces the skin, which becomes red, swollen and tender. The toe can also feel painful when pressure is placed on it.
Corns
-Corns are small circles of thick skin that usually develop on the tops and sides of toes or on the sole of the foot. However, they can occur anywhere.
Calluses
-Calluses are hard, rough areas of skin that are often yellowish in colour. They can develop on your foot, most often around the heel area or over the ball of the foot.
Nail infections
Fungal infection in the toenail is most commonly caused by a fungal skin infection, such as athlete's foot. Around a third of people with athlete's foot will also have a nail infection.
Nail Reconstruction
-LCN WILDE – PEDIQUE is a unique light cured gel which has been specifically designed for podiatrists to painlessly repair, reconstruct and restore toenails to create a natural and healthy looking nail
Verrucae and warts
-Verrucae or plantar warts are hyperkeratotic lesions found particularly over the pressure areas of the feet (heel and ball). They are usually self-resolving but may be treated if symptomatic.
Bio-mechanics
-The biomechanics of the feet are fundamental to good posture and healthy joints. Foot biomechanics may alter position or posture of your knees, hips, pelvis and spine. Additionally increased movement in the feet as is normal in people who over pronate leads to excessive rotation at the knee and hip joints.
